Oracle Card Reading ~ The Four Elements
I’ve been playing around with a new spread for oracle cards and I thought I would share it with you because it’s been working out very well for me.
As you know by now, we are all about Balance. And the Ascended Master most closely associated with Balance is Lady Portia.
According to Inner Light-Workers (http://www.innerlightworkers.co.uk/ascendedmasters/mastersmep.htm), Portia “embodies Divine Justice through Divine Opportunity and so is also known as the Goddess of Justice and the Goddess of Opportunity. It is she that is characterised holding the scales of justice above buildings such as London’s Old Bailey. “Justice” is to be found at the balance point of thought and feeling, and so together with the hierarchs of Libra (whose sign of the zodiac is of course the set of scales) her role is to teach humanity to attain balance of the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies through the attributes of the 4 elements of earth, water, air and fire.”
We’ve been talking a lot about the four elements and balancing our four lower bodies and so I began doing card readings using the four directions as they correspond to the elements, starting with West* and moving clockwise (these correspondences apply in the northern hemisphere). Here is a photo of the last reading I did (click to enlarge).
I asked the Ascended Masters what they wanted Humanity to know in this moment. As you can see, St. Germain appears in the West or emotional body (Water). He is telling us to use our gifts to transmute any emotional issues and release them with love.
“You have the power to resolve the situation you’re inquiring about. This card signifies your untapped magical abilities, which you’ve used successfully in the past. Pull these abilities out of storage and use them to work your magic now. Your clear and focused intentions, positive expectations, prayers, decrees, and action steps all create the healings and manifestations you desire.”
The Green Man appears in the North or physical body (Earth). The Green Man says that the best thing for your physical body right now is to take a break and connect with nature.
“You’ve been indoors too long and you need a refreshing break from stressful conditions. This card comes to you today with a strong message for you to spend time alone outdoors. The healing effects of nature will revive your energy…”
Quan Yin appears in the East or mental body (Air). She is telling us to let go and release any thoughts are troubling us.
“It’s time to stop struggling, pushing, or forcing things to happen. Such actions push against the universal flow and lead to frustrations and blocks. When you let the situation go to Spirit, you automatically open supportive doors that will bring solutions and an outcome exceeding your expectations. Trust that the Universe is on your side.”
Aengus appears in the South or spiritual body (Fire). Aengus says that your Twin Flame is an important part of your spiritual journey right now. Obviously, what this card means is going to differ for each of us ~ only you can discern what Aengus is telling you.
“To form such a partnership, you must follow your inner guidance, learn personal growth lessons, and have patience with Divine timing. Once Twin Flames find each other, everything in their life reaches new heights of love and light.”
Overall, I was pretty pleased with this reading and found it nicely balanced. For example, it indicates that we should let go of some issues but actively work on others. And it indicates that it’s important to spend time alone but that the relationship with our Twin Flame is also important.
Try one of these spreads for yourself and let me know what happens!
~ Enjoy! ~
